(DZSO/DZC) Assault Zone Operations™
This intensive course has been carefully crafted to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully carry out Drop Zone Controller (DZC) & Drop Zone Safety Office (DZSO) duties during day and night environments. Through comprehensive instruction and practical exercises, participants will be able to demonstrate all critical tasks to safely execute all mission parameters.
Students will be trained to coordinate with aircrew and utilize communications equipment in order to control en-route aircraft during both day and night conditions:
– Evaluate & recognize suitable airfield conditions for DZ operations
– Coordinate all pre-mission tasks/assessment & documentation
– Facilitate Drop Zone Marking & Establishment
– Execution of DZC/DZSO Operations

Through comprehensive instruction and practical exercises, participants will be able to demonstrate all critical tasks to safely execute all mission parameters.
